About the films:

100 Days

Following a tradition in Asian culture, family and friends celebrate a newborn baby turning 100 days old over a banquet-style dinner, welcoming the baby into the world. An unexpected guest arrives and a bowl of red bean dessert soup causes tensions to boil over in this modern day family dramedy.

Little Manila

A Vancouver-based travel agent tries to recreate her ill Filipino maid’s childhood home before she dies.

Paco is a Filipino immigrant living in Canada, trying to make ends meet so he can make a better life for his family in Manila. While he spends his days as a janitor, his nights are spent scraping dollars together to re-enrol in university. He carefully balances family and pride until his wife asks for a monetary favour.

A hardened, time-travelling, hitman reluctantly chooses between eliminating his high-profile target or stopping the painful (and pivotal) heartbreak of his younger self happening across the room.
