UBCP/ACTRA Announces 2025 Award Winners Celebrating Outstanding BC Performers

The Union of BC Performers (UBCP/ACTRA) is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 UBCP/ACTRA Awards. While this year’s celebration took place in a new format without a live ceremony, the union remains steadfast in its commitment to recognizing and honouring the extraordinary achievements of its members. The UBCP/ACTRA Awards are proudly supported by AFBS.

This year’s winners exemplify the remarkable depth, diversity, and world-class talent that define British Columbia’s performing community. From seasoned veterans to emerging artists, each award recipient represents excellence across the industry.

Keith Martin Gordey, President of UBCP/ACTRA, shared:

“The UBCP/ACTRA Awards are about celebrating the exceptional artistry and dedication of our members. Even without a live gathering this year, our admiration for their work is unwavering. These performers continue to elevate the standards of our industry and showcase the incredible talent found here in BC and the Yukon.”

The awards span nine categories, including Lead and Supporting Performances in Motion Picture, Series, and Made for TV Movie, as well as Short Performance, Voice Performance, and Stunt Performance.

UBCP/ACTRA is also honoured to present the 2025 Lorena Gale Woman of Distinction Award to Christine Willes, a celebrated actor, mentor, and advocate whose contributions to the industry and broader community have had a profound and lasting impact.

A private event will be held on December 10th at the UBCP/ACTRA offices, celebrating all of the awards recipients.
