BIPOC Committee Mentorship Program 2024 – DEADLINE TO APPLY

The program:

• is offered to BIPOC performers engaged in all areas of recorded media;
• is for continued self-development towards defined tangible objectives;
• lasts for a 6 month duration – July 1 through December 31, 2024;
• matches protégés with experienced mentors who have faced and can relate to specific challenges;
• is conducted with a regularly agreed upon schedule, with structured on-purpose meetings;
• requires both parties to meet a minimum of 2 hours per month;
• is flexible and can be coordinated at mutual convenience.

Eligibility – all applicants must:

• identify as Black, Indigenous, or Person of Colour
• be a Full or Apprentice member
• must be 18 years of age or older
• include a performing resume with their application
• include a headshot with their application

We are seeking members to be protégés who are new to the industry or have faced challenges and barriers in their careers and are looking for mentorship from an experienced member.

We hope to have all proteges matched by June 19, 2024. While best efforts will be made to match you with the most suitable mentor, there is no guarantee that we will be able to accommodate specific requests.
