Stunt Performer Orientation Course

Details:

• This full day (8 hrs) course is intended to orient new, and recently established stunt performers who have the drive, desire, and aptitude to pursue a career in stunts.
• The course content will include stunt history, performer etiquette, responsibilities, health and safety issues, and BCMPA language
• The course instructors are veteran stunt performers and coordinators.
• Only thirty (30) spots available.
• Full day attendance and course completion is mandatory for “Stuntlist Apprentice Members” to graduate to “Stuntlist Full Member” status.

Eligibility:

• Must be actively pursuing a career as a stunt performer.
• UBCP/ACTRA Full and Apprentice members in good standing with at least one (1) stunt performing credit in the last five (5) years.
• Participants must be at least 16 years old.
• Established stunt performers with multiple credits who have joined the Union since January 2019 are also strongly encouraged to attend.
