Why Work With Us?
The Union of British Columbia Performers (UBCP/ACTRA) is an autonomous branch of ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists), the national organization of professional performers working in the English-language recorded media in Canada. UBCP/ACTRA’s more than 8,000 members are an integral part of the approximately 28,000 performers who have come together to build ACTRA, the strongest Union of cultural workers in Canada.
We represent performing artists of all ages and demographics who work in feature films, TV, digital media, radio, documentaries, and commercials. Our members are actors, voice over specialists, stunt co-ordinators, stunt performers, singers, dancers, puppeteers, and background performers.
We have agreements designed to fit different budget levels and types or production. And we want to work with you.
When you work with UBCP/ACTRA you have access to professional performers who have the experience to make your production the best it can be.
A quality performance is a critical part of the overall success of a production. And amateur performers can cost you money with extra auditions, more rehearsal, and more headaches.
Whatever kind of performer you need for your project, UBCP/ACTRA has the talent and experience to get the job done right.
Give us a call. We’ll be pleased to answer your questions.
