International Women’s Day – Call for Nominations Deadline
In recognition of global celebrations on International Women’s Day, UBCP/ACTRA will honour a woman, or a non-binary individual who exemplifies the highest standard of service to their union, or the film industry and causes of social justice.
*Note: The terms woman/women refer to all women of diverse and varied gender identities and expressions. The term non-binary refers to all individuals whose gender does not fit or does not solely fit, within the gender binary of male and female.
Nomination Process
Nominations are made by UBCP/ACTRA Full members based on the following criteria:
The nominated person must be a living, Full member in good standing of UBCP/ACTRA.
If you know of someone who you believe meets the requirements for this honour, please nominate them. If you nominated someone last year who wasn’t selected, please feel free to resubmit with any updates. The Women’s Committee will review the nominations, and make a recommendation to the E-Board. Current sitting E-Board members are not eligible to be nominated for this award.
